Here They Come

A climate refugee? A person who has been forced to leave their home because of the effects of climate change on their environment, i.e. droughts, melting glaciers, and/or erratic weather events.

Most coming from the Southern Hemisphere headed north because of food insecurity and livelihoods disrupted by climate change and resulting geopolitical events.

How many? 60,000,000 annually. From “barely livable” land, currently 1% of the planet… 20% of the planet by 2050.

“They warned us. Again and again and again. But here we are, living on a planet in distress.” How the hell did this happen? Man’s ignorance/arrogance?
