It's Complicated

It’s not a new phrase but recently an expression I hear repeatedly.

Yada, yada, yada, “it’s complicated.”

Politicians explaining inflation end their conversation by simply stating, “it’s complicated.” CEO explaining rising prices and greater profits.

Life is complicated.

World peace is complicated.

Relationships are complicated.

Why is mother nature in such a bad mood?

Legal issues are always more complicated than you think.

Why are Terms and Conditions so long when no one actually reads them?

Why are there shortages?

Why are wars the final resolution?

Why am I always looking for my cell phone?

The eventual answer always ends in, “it’s complicated.”
