MEET KEITH E. MAYNARD
BIO
My name is Keith Edward Maynard, and I am a storyteller. Upon retirement I needed to pursue new endeavors occupying my time and satisfying my quest for knowledge. As a mathematician, realized early that math is simply the study of patterns or the science of patterns. As a student of Texas Hold’em, studied and shared with my poker family how decisions are made using statistics, calculating the odds, and probability of an event. Patterns that are inherent and pervasive. As a middle school teacher, it was my goal to open the eyes of young scholars to patterns in math and life and how they can use them to improve their understanding of the universe in which they exist.

As a retired educator, continued my life-long pursuit of learning. I’ve enjoyed several on-line courses from astronomy to secret societies to writing. All of these experiences and opportunities have led me here. To create this website as a place where I can share my compositions related to my family, my personal experiences, and the wide range of topics that interest me. Who knows? Maybe the next great American novel will appear.
