At the Charletton Baptist church at 3 p. m., Sunday, Sept. 21, Miss Betty J. Maynard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer J. Maynard, of Wellsboro, R. D. 3, was married to Donald F. Ludlam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ludlam, of 16 Water street, Wellsboro, by Rev. H. C. Hayward, of Batavia, N. Y.

She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Robert Bryant, as matron of honor, Miss Walbridge, of Rochester, N. Y., as maid of honor; and Miss Norma Maynard as bridesmaid. Miss Priscilla Maynard was flower girl.

Richard Manard [Maynard], brother of the bride, carried the rings on a heart-shaped pillow of white satin, edged in lace.

The bride is a graduate of the Wellsboro High School and Rochester Business Institute and was a member of the Alpha Omega Sorority. She is employed at Carson's Finance Company. The bridegroom, also a graduate of the Wellsboro High School served three years in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II. At present he is employed at the Wellsboro Division of Corning Glass Works.
