Amateur, Apprentice, or Artifice

Growing up I recall a lie or few… dozen… give or take… anyway, I was a competent liar. I don’t want to brag, but now can see the difference between an amateur, apprentice or artifice.

A spinner, to tell part of the truth in order to convince one of something. Amateur.

A practiced dissembler, to profess beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives. Apprentice.

A hype-embellished swindler, to feel a frenzied conviction that they're doing the right thing, and then they keep going. Repeat. An artifice.
