A primary source is an original document or object that provides first-hand information about an event or topic. I have done my best to read and present materials. I admit some is difficult to read, so I welcome feedback in order to correct possible (likely) errors.
Within my “Cigar Box” I have an aging handwritten letter. The pencil marks becoming fainter and fainter, fading into oblivion. Like the lives recorded, these pages will soon be gone. This is I my attempt to keep their memories alive. These are the lives we have built, for better or worse, and continue to grow.
The delicate pages reflecting our lives filled with our history, our legacy. Will anyone care? I do not know. I’m sure I am heading toward the line in the sand and looking back can see the footprints even now disappearing.
