If we by chance meet on the street and you recognize me while… I appear to be ignoring you, I now apologize cause I likely don’t… recognize you.
I should, you assume. And I seem to be focused, about to say hello, but then wander away while you stand thinking, how rude.
I am likely experiencing prosopagnosia better known as face blindness.
I have difficulty recognizing faces, especially those of strangers or people I don’t know well or have not seen for a long time.
I occasionally struggle to tell the difference between people or encounter in an unexpected setting.
