Age 64 of RD 7, Wellsboro, Pa. Monday, July 2, 1984. Friends may call at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral, Wellsboro, Pa. Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m.
The immediate family will not be at the viewing. They will receive friends at the family home during that time. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. S. Wade Stewart officiating. Burial Wellsboro Cemetery. Full Military Services will be accorded at the grave.
Survived by wife, Pauline Rebecca Dransfield Maynard; 3 daughters, Mrs. Sharon Knapp of RD 3, Wellsboro, Mrs. Jerry L. Sampsell of Selinsgrove, Pa. and Mrs. Bonnie J. Raymond of RD 2, Wellsboro; 1 son, William R. Maynard at home; 2 brothers, Alden and Robert Maynard both of Wellsboro; 2 sisters, Mrs. Marjorie English of Corning and Mrs. Phyllis Heatwole of Wellsboro; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Alan Maynard who died April 23, 1967.
Mr. Maynard was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Wellsboro, Pa. the son of Howard and Lepha Plumley Maynard. He was retired employee of the former Corning Glass Works, Wellsboro Division with 38 years of service. He was Army Veteran of WW II.
