Back then, after Church service, the two of us quickly heading to Lucky Wishbone at Broadway Blvd. and Swan Road. Purchased a couple of cheeseburgers, sodas, and the best onion rings in the world. Individually hand-breaded, then deep fried.

Next stop, a mile away at 22nd Street and Swan Road, where we parked behind the Roller Skating Rink. Through the windows, we could watch young and old dancing and youngsters weaving among adults, with music escaping the building.
