Every year I celebrate two Birthdays. The first on May 3rd. Born in 1949, I am now seventy-three. Here by chance:
Sperm transportation
Egg transportation
Fertilization and embryo development
Implantation
One egg randomly selects one from 100,000,000 sperm and somewhere along the way, I exist. I have a theory that it did not make a difference which sperm. I was next in the queue.
My second birthday, May 26, 2010. My heart birthday. I woke up in the ICU. Norma at my side.
The nurse announced, “Take a seat on the chair, I need to make the bed.”
