I was told she married a Thomas and moved to Sturgis, South Dakota. There are other stories, but will leave unwritten until verified.
The last time we spoke, I was leaving, headed to Arizona, and she was in tears. I told her I would write. I never did. Regret.
Later in life, I learned a tough lesson: the one left behind will experience grief.
