It was late or early, your call, as I sat in silence. Soda nearby. Snacking on a Fig Bar, nearby Daisy curled up in her bed. In the background, the TV hummed. Slowly I surf through the guide looking for something to watch: Golf Channel, CNN, a western, anything will do to fill the silence.

Channel 4, 5, 6, nothing… onward… In the hundreds now, Channel 124, C-SPAN.

Surely that would put me to sleep. Open Forum.
